Today, we're discussing the automatic addition of hashtags in posts.
In our service, you can add hashtags to a post in several different ways:
- On a new line.
- At the end of the text.
- By adding a blank line at the end, followed by the hashtags.
- As the first comment.
Most users tend to choose the third option—adding a blank line and then the hashtags. We agree that this option looks the most appealing and aesthetic. A series of hashtags does not distract from the text but simply complements the post.
However, saved hashtags are not always enough. Sometimes, you write a post about a completely new service and add a hashtag with its name at the end. This results in the text, followed by the user-added hashtag, and then the automatic tags after a blank line, which looks unattractive.
In the new update, we have automated this process. Now, hashtags will be placed correctly: if the user has entered their own tag at the end, the automatic tags will be added after the manually entered one. If the user has not entered a tag, then the automatic hashtags will be added according to one of the rules selected in the settings.
This way, the logic and aesthetics of each of your posts will be preserved, without unnecessary operations.
