Add the first comment in Threads

We continue to enhance the service based on your ideas! Now you can add the first comment to a post in Threads. This is a small but important detail that will make your work more convenient and your interaction with followers more effective.

Why is the first comment needed?

For example, if your text exceeds the limit of 500 characters, you can continue it in the comment. Or, if you want to maintain the aesthetics of the post and avoid cluttering it with hashtags, you can conveniently move them to the first comment.

Another scenario is highlighting a question for discussion. Sometimes it gets lost in the main text, but it will be immediately noticed in the comment.

How to add the first comment?

1. Create a post as usual.
   

2. Find the message cloud icon — this is the button to add the first comment.
   

3. Write the desired text, schedule or publish the post.
   

By the way, we are already working on developing this feature — we plan to introduce a whole thread of comments for even more flexible interaction with the audience.
