What are signatures and why do you need them?
Signatures are ready-made text templates that can quickly be added to a publication. They help save time and avoid entering repetitive information. For example, you can automatically insert contact information, standard calls to action, legal information, or organizational details.
Signatures were available before, but they had to be added to each post manually: clicking on the pencil icon and selecting the desired template. Now we have automated this process!
How to set up automatic signature addition
The new system allows you to choose when and where the signature will appear. To do this, go to the "Signatures" section in settings and fill in everything you need.
- Signature position — at the beginning or end of the text.
- Platforms and accounts — on which social networks and profiles it will be applied.
- Categories — you can set different signatures for different types of content.
If a post doesn't require an automatic signature, it can easily be turned off directly in the editor. This allows you to fully control the content without wasting time on settings each time.
Examples of using signatures
Automatic signatures can be useful in many different situations. Here are some examples.
- For business accounts — a signature with company contacts, a link to the website, or a call to leave an application.
Example: "Call: +7 (XXX) XXX-XX-XX | More details on the website | Message us in Direct!" - For authors and bloggers — a signature inviting subscriptions or linking to other platforms.
Example: "Read more articles on my blog! Follow me on YouTube, Telegram, and VK" - For legal notifications — a standard disclaimer on confidentiality or copyright.
Example: "All rights reserved. Material copying is prohibited."
