Friends, do you often ask how to set up automatic publishing on Zen?
This possibility exists! Now, automatic publishing on Zen can be configured through the official bot of your Telegram channel. Currently, this is the only way to automate publications, since Yandex still does not offer direct integration.
We are paying attention to updates, and as soon as there is a possibility for direct integration, we will certainly add this function to our service. But this does not prevent you from already setting up publishing with the help of the bot.
How does this work?
- You plan publications on the Telegram channel through our service.
- The bot automatically transfers the posts from Telegram to Zen.
Let's analyze step by step how to set this up.
Zen Requirements
- The Telegram channel must be public (private channels are not supported).
- A Zen channel can only be linked to one Telegram channel (and vice versa).
Features of the publications
When you set up the automatic publication from the Telegram channel to Zen via the official bot, it is important to consider some key points that influence the final appearance of the materials.
Firstly, the system uses the first sentence of your post on Telegram as the article title, so it is important to ensure it does not have more than 140 characters (including spaces), otherwise, the text will be cut off. Secondly, the first image attached to the post is automatically used as a cover.
Also, keep in mind that all text formatting (bold, italic, lists, quotes) from Telegram is not retained. In Zen, the text will appear as a continuous block without highlights. As for media files: images and videos up to 20 MB are supported (for videos, this usually means about 1-2 minutes in medium quality) — anything beyond this limit will simply not be uploaded.
