Hello! Today we added a post on Telegram. Soon, we will create a tutorial video on how to connect channels/groups in Telegram for posting.
For those who want to start working today, we're pleased to inform you: the instruction is simple and intuitive. And if you've already dealt with posting on Telegram and setting up bots, you won't have any difficulties at all.
The entire connection is divided into 3 parts:
- Creating a bot.
- Adding the bot to the channel/group.
- Connecting channels/groups to the service.
Creating a bot
- You need to find "BotFather" in the Telegram contacts.
- Send the following message to the "BotFather" bot: /newbot and specify your bot's name, for example, MyPublic (enter).
- Then you need to set your bot's username. The name must include "bot". For example, MyPublicBot (enter).
- After successful creation, BotFather will send a message that the bot is created and assigned an access token, which will be highlighted in color.
Adding the bot to the channel/group After the bot is created, you need to add it as a member of your channel/group and assign it as an administrator. Then, write any message in the group or channel so that the bot knows it has been added (Telegram specifics).
Connecting channels/groups to the service Finally, the bot can be added to the Postmypost service. To do this, go to settings, click the "+ Telegram" button, and specify the Access token. After that, click "Connect" and check the groups/channels where you want to place the post.
That's it! Now you can publish on Telegram. We understand that setting up Telegram for posting is a non-trivial task, but unfortunately, there's no other mechanism. If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer them, assist in the support chat, with any settings, from BotFather commands to the final connection of the channel/group to the Postmypost service.
We are confident that you will like the update! We invite everyone to test it and wish you pleasant work.
