Today, we are discussing the automatic addition of hashtags to posts.
In our service, there are several ways to add hashtags to a post:
- On a new line.
- At the end of the text.
- Add an empty line at the end, then hashtags.
- As the first comment.
Most users choose the third option — they add an empty line, and then the hashtags. Agreed, this option looks the most advantageous and aesthetically pleasing. A series of hashtags does not distract from the text, it just complements the post.
However, sometimes the saved hashtags are not enough. Sometimes, you're writing a post about a completely new service and add a hashtag with its name at the end. It turns out that there's text, then the hashtag added by the user, and then automatic tags through an empty line - it looks unattractive.
In the new update, we have automated this process. Now, hashtags will be placed correctly: if a user has entered their own tag at the end, the automatic tags will be added after this manually entered one. And if the user has not entered a tag, then the automatic hashtags will be added according to one of the rules chosen in the settings.
Thus, in each of your posts, the logic and aesthetics will be maintained without unnecessary operations.
