The most convenient and simple way to publish posts on Telegram is through the scheduled posting service Postmypost. Let's understand how to connect a Telegram channel or group to the service to start doing this.
Auto-posting significantly eases the process of publishing posts as it allows for pre-scheduling their release. To connect Telegram channels or groups to the Postmypost service, you first need to create a bot. Let's go step by step on how to do this.
How to create a bot
The very first step is to create a bot. For this, to register it, you will need another bot — the official service for setting up and managing Telegram bots — BotFather. Its main function is to register a bot and provide a unique token for working with the Bot API.

First, you need to find BotFather through a search in Telegram, run it, and send the command /newbot. Then enter the bot's name, followed by the username. The username is the bot's technical name, which will be displayed in the search line. It should be a unique name written in Latin characters and end with the word bot.
As soon as you enter the username in the message field and send it to BotFather, it will send back a token. This token will be highlighted in color.

How to add a bot to a channel or group
Now that you have a bot, you need to add it to the channel or group members and appoint it as an administrator. To do this, click on the name of the channel or group, and go to the information section.
Next, go to "Subscribers," where you need to click on the "Add subscribers" line and in the opened window write the bot's username in the search line. Now you need to choose it and click "OK."
Now just click the "Make admin" and "Done" buttons. That's it! You have appointed your bot as an administrator.
How to connect a channel or group to Postmypost
Let's proceed directly to connecting the Telegram channel or group to the service. Follow the steps.
Step 1
Go to the "Accounts" section of the desired project and click the "Connect accounts" button.
Step 2
Select Telegram and click the "Connect" button. Now the bot can be added to the Postmypost service to connect channels and groups.

Step 3
Now you need to enter the channel URL — this is the channel's link. Please note: you can only specify a link to public channels. Private channels and groups do not have links, so you need to turn off the toggle. You do not need to insert the bot's link itself into the URL.
Step 4
Now specify your bot's API token — the same one that was highlighted in color when you created the bot.

Step 5
Click the "Connect" button. After that, you will see all the channels and groups available to your bot. All that's left is to check the boxes for the channels or groups you want to connect to the service and click the "Connect" button again.
Step 6
If you need to log out or connect other accounts, click the "Connect more" button.
That's it! Now, when your Telegram channel or group is displayed in the project under the "Accounts" block, you can make scheduled posts on Telegram.
