Despite the fact that Instagram* is blocked in Russia, this social network is still popular. According to Mediascope, in February 2024, an average of 6.8 million Russians over the age of 12 logged in at least once a day. Users share important life events, publish interesting information. But what if, for example, you need to go on a business trip or it's vacation time, and there's no one to delegate the responsibility of posting? The best way is to use autoposting. By the way, scheduled posts are also relevant in everyday work, as they free up time for other tasks.

Why scheduled posts are needed on Instagram*

Scheduled posts on Instagram* help SMM specialists, bloggers, entrepreneurs, and regular users automatically publish posts according to a pre-set schedule. This, in turn, helps maintain activity and improve audience engagement. Here are the main advantages of auto-posting on Instagram*.

  • Time-saving. There's no need to log into Instagram* every day and manually post.
  • Consistent activity. Even if you're busy with other matters or on vacation, scheduled posts continue to go live on time.
  • Optimal posting times. With auto-posting, you can publish content when your audience is most active, increasing reach and engagement.
  • Planning publications allows for more thorough content strategy development, adherence to a content plan, and maintaining a consistent account style.

How to schedule posts in a single window using the Postmypost service

The social media management service Postmypost publishes posts on any social network, including Instagram*, with just one click. Using auto-posting, you plan the date and time for the post to go live, and the service itself automatically publishes the necessary post on the appointed day and time. Additionally, you can pre-schedule a repost of a post that hasn't been published yet in the service.

To schedule a post, log into the Postmypost social media management service and create a post. Add text, photos, videos.

Then choose the desired date and time for the post to go live. After that, press the "Schedule" button.

It's that simple! Now your posts will be published on time, and you won't even need to log into Instagram*!

How to schedule posts on Instagram* on iPhone

You can schedule posts to go live on Instagram* using the Postmypost app on iPhone, which can be downloaded from the App Store. To start using the app, download and install it on your iPhone, log in. Then go to the desired project, and in the "Posts" section, choose what you need to create: a post or a story.

How to schedule posts in the Instagram* app

Please note that scheduling a post directly in the Instagram* app is only available to business account or author account owners. To switch, go to your profile settings and change the type of account from personal to professional.

In Instagram*, you can schedule a post for up to 75 days. Let's see how to schedule a post within the app.

  • Create a post.
  • At the very bottom of the screen, select "Advanced settings."
  • Activate the "Schedule this post" button.
  • Choose the date and time for the post to go live.
  • Press "Schedule" and upload the post.
  • When the post is uploaded, you'll see a message at the bottom of the feed: "Your post is scheduled for the day of the week, date, and time."
  • You can schedule both a regular post and a carousel post. A scheduled post can always be edited, the publication time changed, or even deleted. To view a list of scheduled posts in your profile, click the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner and select "Scheduled content."

Conclusion

Scheduled posts on Instagram* offer the opportunity to effectively manage time and resources. Whether you choose to use the built-in feature of the app or prefer using third-party auto-posting services, the result will be a consistent flow of content without unnecessary effort.

Entrust the automatic posting of posts to an auto-posting service, and you can focus more on other important matters. Rest assured that your posts will appear on time, and you won't lose the interest of your audience.
