Faster, more functional, more beautiful: how Postmypost has changed

Several months we have been preparing a global update to our service: we studied your suggestions and wishes and implemented them. As a result, Postmypost has become faster, more convenient, more functional, and more visually pleasing.

The key feature of the update is the "Monitoring" section. This is a fundamentally new tool that simplifies working with messages and comments and takes it to a qualitatively new level.

Events from all social media accounts are collected in a single window in real-time. Respond to them in this same "Monitoring" window and mark messages as read, tag, add additional information to the contact card, and work not only with one message or comment but with the whole dialogue thread.

All these capabilities will allow you to maintain an active dialogue with subscribers, responding to each of them promptly. Your work or the work of the whole team with messages will become simpler and more structured.

In second place for the scale of changes is the interface. We have modified it, and in the future, this will become the basis for integrating the next updates.

In the analytics section, for greater convenience, quick date selection buttons have been added. In the "Posts" section, navigation through posts has been improved, and editing and preview windows have been made more focused and visually light. The neural network now has a copy button, the addition of which was requested by our users.

All of this facilitates and optimizes working with the service, freeing up even more time by eliminating routine.

Of course, we are not stopping here, and in the near future, we will prepare other updates that will make working with the service even more convenient.

Monitoring: all messages and comments in one window

The most important update: we added a fundamentally new section within the service — "Monitoring". This is tracking the event feed from all social media in one window. You no longer have to manually monitor hundreds of messages in different social media and accounts, fearing to miss something. The need to switch between messages and comments in the service itself has also disappeared. Now everything you write is immediately added to the feed, simplifying work with comments and messages.

This tool is relevant for those who promptly respond to comments, help solve issues that subscribers have, actively support dialogue, take orders, and so on. In other words, for anyone managing social media — either personal or business.

How does monitoring work?

As soon as your subscribers send a private message or comment, it will immediately appear in the service event feed. The message must have a social media icon from which it originated.

All received messages and comments can be viewed in a single window. As soon as you respond to a message, instead of a gray checkmark, a blue one will light up. If a comment does not require a response, mark it as read. Later, using a filter, you can select all unresolved events and reply to each message.

Now you will not miss a single event: they are collected in one window. No more need to manually monitor dozens of posts and hundreds of comments in several accounts, to remember: did you reply or not to a message.

Add tags to messages and comments

You can now add one or several tags to each received message and comment.

Tags are special labels or keywords that link your messages or comments. Later, when working with messages, you can select them according to specific criteria. For example, choose all messages that haven't been answered or resolved events with the tag "Order," or messages with positive or negative characteristics.

Tags can also be placed assigning different specialists in your team to respond to messages: tech support, designer, sales department, logistics...

Monitoring is an important tool for teamwork, adapting to business needs. With it, you'll organize processes for working with clients, respond promptly to messages and comments. Give tags any names relevant to you and your business. Build optimal work within the company and interact with subscribers.

Detailed view of events and message threads

Remembering the content of all dialogues with all users, of course, is impossible. But with "Monitoring" this is no longer necessary, just as there's no need to go to social media and look for what the dialogue was about. To understand or remember the context of the correspondence, just navigate to the full message thread — in this same window section.

Additionally, all messages and comments can be grouped depending on to which post they belong or who the author of the message is.

Another monitoring capability is detailed event view. Three columns from left to right show a full list of events, a communication thread, and user information that can be supplemented and corrected. All this allows not to keep any notes, but to manage communication within one service.

And these are far from all the new possibilities...

Neural network: copy with one click

Many of our users asked us to add a copy icon to the chat with the Postmypost AI neural network. We did it! If before you had to use hotkeys or the right mouse button to copy the result, now it takes just one click on the copy icon.

How the interface changed

Clear boundaries and separate blocks

The interface and navigation have become more focused and intuitive. Thus, the project menu, top, and right menu are highlighted into separate blocks. The working area is visually separated from additional panels, their boundaries are clearly outlined — this helps to navigate the interface more easily. As for additional sections, they are now always within the main one, each in its clearly designated place.

Updated filters and placeholders

Visual lightness, clean space without unnecessary elements: we believe that the working window should not be cluttered. Therefore, we updated the filters — they no longer take up unnecessary space. Click the button at the top right. Set up the filter as needed, and an active blue dot will appear on the button. When moving to other sections all settings are saved. Once the need for the filter disappears, just close it.

Another change affected empty screens. In the previous version, some parts of the interface were empty when loading. This caused discomfort when moving from one section to another. Now during information loading instead of emptiness — a placeholder appears. These are such unfilled elements that indicate: something will be here!

How work with posts changed

We changed the editing window so that nothing interferes with focus. Now it consists of two columns, not three as before. On the left — the editor column, on the right — the preview or discussion column. Moreover, a button has appeared to hide the right panel. Also, the sections "Drafts", "Stages", "Templates", and "Trash" have been moved to the left menu.

The post preview itself has also changed. If before you had to scroll through posts to see how they would look on different social networks, now posts are located in one feed. This allows you to immediately see how a post looks across different social networks.

And we have improved navigation by post types. Instead of icons, there are now convenient buttons: "Day", "Week", "Month", and "Instagram"*.

Bonus — the loading screen changed

Previously, when loading the service, an empty white window appeared. For 5-7 seconds, it might cause concern among some users: maybe the network disappeared? Technically these seconds are necessary for loading the interface. In the updated service, instead of an empty window until the service is ready to work, a nice splash screen is displayed.

Regarding the likelihood of a lost connection, you can no longer fear it. We added a notification about the absence of a network. Now, if you start working offline, a notification will immediately appear.

Analytics became more convenient

What is the convenience of the updated analytics calendar? Previously you could select the period of interest for analytics by marking the start and end dates. We added "Today", "Last 7 days", and "Last 90 days" buttons to the updated service.

Technical part

And — a bit about the technical part of the Postmypost 4 changes. The service has become not only more convenient, beautiful, but also faster. We updated the layout and moved to using standalone components. This decision allowed us to reduce the application size by 27.87% and due to this, speed up the interface operation. We tried to take into account the most popular requests from users who work daily with the service for managing social networks. We are confident: managing social networks will become simpler, more convenient, and pleasant!
